window shots

Here's a few shots i took through windows. One of them I took while going up to the top of the Duomo...which I finally did my last couple of days here. It was extremely hot and crowded but the view at the top was worth it. The other shot I took on my hike through Cinque Terre. I love how blue the water is, I'm not ready to go back to LA!

Dogs

i dont know why, but i find the dogs in italy especially cute. they all have such funny personalities!

piazzale michelangelo

the road leading up the to piazaale michelangelo was my assigned road for the slideshow project but it ended up being one of my favorite places to run to and to go to relax. there are very few tourist there and there is a beautiful garden leading up to it where i took a few of these pictures. the ponds there a full of turtles and frogs and lots of amazing flowers and trees!

duck

while i was lying at the garden of the michealangelo piazzale i spotted this branch that looks like a duck!

broccoli trees

i loved these trees that were everywhere around cinque terre. this first picture i took during a free weekend that we spent in bona sola, a little town right off of the cinque terre. the weekend we spent there was one of my favorite memories of italy...we relaxed on the beach and swam in the mediterranean sea! the water was so blue and it was so salty you could just float. we also hung out with the locals at night which was fun because in florence we end up in places with a bunch of american kids a lot, which is still fun, but i felt that we had a more authentic experience while we were there. the other pictures of trees i took the following weekend when we came back to cinque terre as a class and went on the hike between each of the towns. it was amazing...probably the prettiest place ive ever been before!

The leaves of these trees look like broccoli

amore

this is my favorite picture that ive taken so far in italy...which is kind of ironic since it is of a porter potty. i would really like to meet the person who decided to design this porter potty like this haha. i think love is an apparent theme in italy.. there are couples everywhere and even regular objects, like this porter potty or the picture of the bench i took, give you the feeling of amore.
